I am Meidan Gutraiman (Meydy), an artist and composer from Israel whose musical journey began in childhood and has evolved through diverse experiences in both performance and technology. My compositions are inspired by a wide range of genres—rock, metal, electronic, and the nostalgic sounds of Israeli music from the ’80s and ’90s—blending these influences into a unique, heartfelt style. After years in the tech industry, I returned to music with renewed passion, collaborating with my wife Sharon to release original songs as an independent creative project. Currently, I am eager to focus on composing for media and sync, and recognition through the Composer Spotlight Award would be a meaningful step in my professional growth in this field. My latest project—a mini-album of original tracks—combines electronic and orchestral elements, live guitars, and analog synthesizers, reflecting my commitment to fusing organic and modern sounds. I am passionate about music for media and excited to contribute my creative voice to the Composer Spotlight Award.
