Hello! My name is Flavio Cuccurullo and I’m a music composer from Naples, Italy.
I studied at the G. Martucci Conservatory of Salerno, and I’ve been working in music for film, short films, ads, and art installations.
Over the years, I’ve also released three instrumental albums with Blue Spiral Records: 7even, Vitriol, and God Shaped Hole.
I’ve had the chance to collaborate with some incredible international artists, including Mariko Muranaka, Agota Zdanaviciute, Audrey Kesseidjan, Bret Roberts, Pericle Odierna, Antonio Onorato, and Nicola Hansalik Samale.
What truly drives my composing process is something deep, a kind of inner reflection that pushes me beyond myself and into unexplored territory. It’s in that space of discovery that I’m able to gain perspective on who I am, what I do, and what I feel — and translate that into sound.
I’d love to be considered for the Composer Spotlight Award not only to share my personal journey, but also to learn, grow, and connect with people in the industry. It would be an incredible opportunity to challenge myself, exchange ideas, and evolve both musically and personally through meaningful dialogue and shared creative experiences.
Cheers from Naples!
