My name is Vincent Jewell, but in the music world, I go by Fifty Vinc. I was born on June 9, 1994, in Datteln, Germany, and I have both German and American roots.
I’m a music producer and composer for TV, film, and video games.
My passion for music originally came from my love for breakdancing. I started producing music at a young age, initially making tracks specifically for breakdance battles. Over time, I expanded into hip-hop and rap, and eventually found inspiration in the cinematic world—especially from my idol, Hans Zimmer. I’ve always been drawn to epic, orchestral, and trailer music, and I began blending those sounds with contemporary hip-hop elements. That unique fusion has become my signature style.
Beyond working with individual artists, I also compose production music that has reached a global audience. My tracks have been featured by major television networks and streaming platforms around the world. Organizations such as the NFL, NBA, UFC, Red Bull, CBS, ABC, FOX Sports, ESPN, Sky, MTV, Betway, Mercedes, Battle Of The Year, RTL, ZDF, America’s Got Talent and FISU – World University Games have all used my work. It’s been an exciting journey, and I’m grateful to be recognized as a versatile and in-demand composer in the industry.
I would like to be considered for the Composer Spotlight Award because I bring a high level of versatility and adaptability to my work as a composer. Whether it’s orchestral scores, trailer music, pop, rock, TV jingles, or commercial soundtracks — I’m comfortable across a wide range of genres and always eager to dive into new styles and creative challenges.
What truly sets my work apart, however, is my fusion of modern film and trailer music with the contemporary sound and rhythm of hip-hop. This unique blend has contributed to the development of a new sub-genre often referred to as “Epic / Cinematic Hip-Hop.” I’m proud to have played a role in shaping this style, which combines the emotional depth and scale of cinematic music with the punch and modern edge of hip-hop.
I strive to push musical boundaries while staying emotionally connected to each project I work on, and I believe this approach reflects the evolving nature of modern media music.
