Hi My name is Jeff Bernstein and I’ve been composing my own music for around 15 years. I’ve composed for a few Scottish short films and about to release my second independently funded album in vinyl and CD. I have a small studio in my house where I spend hours orchestrating and composing. I’m aged 60 and I knew my heart was fused with film and tv scores when I first heard John Barry’s TV theme for The Persuaders! aged 7 years old. My life revolves around music and the highs and lows are portrayed through my musical interpretation. In the most recent collection I deal with grief having lost my wife 3 years ago and also hope and re-embracing life. I’d like to be considered for the award as composing has been my lifelong passion.
